Buenos días, según muchas soluciones de los modelos meteorológicos, los próximos 8 días tendremos más circulación de borrascas, que empujarán grandes cantidades de agua disponible🌧️

La circulación de vientos de componente suroeste, disparan las precipitaciones en zonas orográficas y resto de la fachada atlántica. En la mitad este los frentes y borrascas llegan desgastados y los acumulados son menores

Buenos días, mañana el modelo GFS se actualizará. Entre otras mejoras, destaca la asimilación de datos de dominios suplementarios. Observando la predicción de precipitación a 72H se pueden ver diferencias importantes entre la versión actual (izquierda) y la nueva (derecha)📝🌧️

Beyond the 12th and the signal is mixed. The weather will be driven by High pressure to our east bringing some mild S / SE winds for a time. If the High migrates to our N or NW it would turn quite cool and dry later with frosts and fog a threat. The other route is for the High to sink back into Europe and allow the Atlantic take hold again with more unsettled spells.

This chart suggests a drier interlude starting on the 9th for the Dublin area (and East in general but may also earns further westward) as seen on the precipitation line at bottom of the chart. The temperature looks unseasonably mild too in the mid-teens (suggested by the upper air temp of 7-8c at 850hpa. I add 7-10c for indication of ground temp) 1/2

I'm a weather buff...born two years before the crazy winter of 1963. Nope, don't remember it but have lots of charts and info about it. I follow the weather models routinely. I'm a 'sometimes' artist and sketch, paint, cartoon or caricaturise depending on the mood. I'm an LFC supporter since childhood. I like a good laugh.
