It really feels like a modern way to work with the . I can quickly build web applications that run smoothly, are reactive to my data and their changes.

The build process is scary tho, and i still don't understand a bit of it.
Svelte itself is a brilliant mix of HTML with a reactive and declarative interface to the DOM and i really love it.

I'm thinking of building a static website/blog where I could host my astrophotography images as well as some blog posts, tutorials, etc.

Features I'm looking for:
- Built-in or plugins for generating image galleries from high resolution images
- Image viewing tool/plugin with ability to zoom/pan in high resolution images
- Ability to generate pages from template and separate data (yaml, etc.)
- Possibility to include code blocks with syntax highlighting
- Tags
- Simplicity of use

I'm starting to look into Jekyll and Hugo. Any other tools or recommendations? Thx.

How are devs handling the UI pattern of a big clickable area with text, images, and other clickable stuff inside it?

Example: A Mastodon post has links inside it but can also be clicked to show the reply thread.

I know how to implement this all in JS, but mostly concerned about the and implications. My recollection is that some screenreaders do not handle nested links in buttons well and even apart from that, there's the general ambiguity of "wait, they clicked a link inside a button -- which onClick handler did they intend to fire?"
