Though it's primarily a technological movement, it certainly carries shades of political activism as well, and it feels to me distinctly progressive in nature, because in many ways it's a reaction against the modern corporate dominance of the web.

Is there room for greater cooperation and coordination between #progressivetech and the #web4People crowd? What would that even look like?
