Hey #WebDesign folks, what do you think of Lucid (aka: Lucid Charts?) for wireframing and maybe initial design drafts?

I used Lucid with a past employer and really liked it.

Figma has a lot of buzz lately that I've noticed and I've been trying to use it but I find it to be an overall negative experience. That may be just because I'm not used to it yet.

I tend the follow the largest community, the "wisdom of the crowd", because when I make a dumb mistake (as I inevitably do), there are more people around at any given time that can help me get back on track.

I've been debugging a #css issue for hours, and only just realised it's due to a 14 year old bug on Firefox..

I made a dark mode toggle, which applies the .dark class to the body (body class="dark").

I used a SCSS mixin & see it at the bottom of the full stylesheet.

It's not overriding the body class properties.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Codes:

Using !important doesn't help.

After updating to the latest version of #macOS last night, my ad blocker for #Safari briefly broke. You never fully appreciate how garbage-y modern websites look until you lose the ability to filter out runaway monetization. Formerly clean pages became toxic waste dumps FAST.

”Please turn off your ad blocker" is a frequently-served message these days. Don't take the bait. Just turn on the "reader" view in your browser and scroll on, noble soul.
