@natebeaty true story, I migrated some of those ancient Rails apps for customers who fled the #Webfaction debacle and they're chugging along on Opalstack today. 🙂
#Webfaction users who don't want to migrate to the worse hosting apparently have until the end of March to make arrangements. I went with @opalstack@twitter.com and their migration tool seems to work for wordpress sites. We'll see how the rest goes.
@wendy This is cool! But it seems to require #sox. Annoyingly, my hosting, #webfaction, is shutting down and I'm being migrated to #tsoHost, which seems to have fewer features, so I can't rely on on any command line programs.
I really should look for a host more like webfaction is/was, as they let me do really a lot of things and had command line access, etc.
Setting up #letsencrypt on #webfaction today for some of my wife's client's sites. I hope I can remember how I overcame all the problems I encountered last time!
