I've made some changes to the Logo Folio on my site. They are now much smaller and presented in single color wiithin (as all logos should be recognisable this way).

For real though, for static sites, Webflow is changing the game. As a frontend dev in a digital agency environment, I'm seeing myself turn into a Webflow dev.

Trying out Webflow's new "Devlink" feature. (which is now open beta)

If you want efficiently convert a Webflow site to a Next.JS site, it seems reasonably good.

However, Webflow's terminology that you "sync components" is misleading. It's more like "exporting" components as code. Once exported, you cannot use Webflow's designer without overwriting all code changes.

Overall it feels like a helpful time-saver, but not a game-changer if you cannot sync back into Webflow.

I've set up a conditional rule for the Customer Success Story URLs on my site. If the URL field in the CMS is empty, it hides the link, and instead displays the company name in plain text instead.

Just sent a first draft of a website to a non-tech client. They wanted CMS access which I granted. I hadn't yet given training and yet they went ahead completing page edits and created a new event in the listing section. @amber @stuartlindenjr (I used to work there.) #webflow gives designers full control over the elements that build up pages / component structure. That means you can make DIV soup, but you can also structure stuff well if you dig in. It's up to the designer.

I finally hit a barrier with Webflow with a new project that needs over 60 fields for a collection item and I think I might have to revert back to a self-hosted CMS like WordPress or Craft. Hmm.

I wonder if there is a third-party database extension that can let you continue to use Webflow but augment it somehow, not just like Jetboost, but an actual separate content database.
