Tiens lorsque l'on converti un fichier en webP on perd les données EXIF sur Windows mais elles sont seulement lisibles sur Gimp ou Darktable 😑

Today I benchmarked #GodotEngine 3 on the main lossless image formats.
So I loaded the default godot icon a million times:
PNG (3305 bytes) took 1.758 seconds
Optimized PNG (1939b) took 1.853s
WebP (1378b) took 1.778s
So WebP indeed has a small speed penalty compared to unoptimized PNGs, but it largely makes up for it in size.

Hab im Blogbeitrag zum #RenderHook zu #Hugo endlich nen Downloadlink für render-image.html und figure.html hinterlegt. Hatte ich damals vergessen.

Beides sorgt dafür, dass Hugo einbebundene Bilddateien (per Markdown Syntax UND per figure) automatisch in Varianten mit kleinerer Auflösung erzeugt, um Traffic zu sparen.

Dabei wird das Originalbild zum Verlinken benutzt und mehrere #Webp Dateien für verschiedene Auflösungen erstellt.

Depending on the instance (updated or not) upload is available, BUT just the first image of a small (446kb) animated webP image is displayed. I downloaded the image and the rest of the webP animation is missing.

It's a pity, webP animation is way superior in quality to GIF and smaller to.

Comment faire :
- convertir le fichier (cbz en zip, cbr en rar, cb7 en zip7)
- décompressez
- convertir avec la CLI de ImageMagick : magick convert -strip -quality 60 *.jpg test-p0%d.webp
- zip -9 test.zip *.webp
- mv test.zip test.cbz

i personally use a rather moderate resolution for today standards and use compressed #jpg. yes, there are other more efficient formats like #webp ...but i figured out the #thumbnail doesent show in many peoples timeline, which is of course fatal for a attention seeking "mememaker" as my self.
