I don't know if this is partly because of the Google issue or what, but being very honest, the donations thing isn't working for me. I have close friends who've signed on, and are enjoying my services very much, but aside of that, nobody contributes. The sites actually run on what I make from doing readings. Strongly considering promoting myself as some arbitrary content critic since that's what happens in practical terms.

Okay, I've gone and done it. I've started making and placing "ads" for my supporters' and friends' sites on moderntraditional.com in visible but non annoying spots.
I just can't see going back to Adsense. Not judging anyone who does so. I just feel like my attention, time, and page space is worth more. If I'm wrong, fine, but I'm pretty sure some people trust my recommendations more than automated ads from who knows.
