The closest I've gotten is listening to NDB stations in the US on #KiwiSDR systems - one near me, "Pembleton Farms KiwiSDR", has a 230 meter Beverage antenna. I've also listened to #longwave broadcast stations in Europe especially BBC Radio 4 on 198 kHz through the U Twente #WebSDR .

Prompted by @RW Observer on Twente #WebSDR chat, I checked BBC WS morning transmissions to Middle East via A'Seela🇴🇲: 03-04z 12095, 13580 kHz; 04-05z 13580, 15310 kHz. Strangely, they're registered in HFCC as starting July 10 o.O but I don't think they were replacing anything...

... yet, NONE of them is present on Twente SDR fullday display as of today ❗

All three freqs were in place yesterday, and, for a matter of fact, on July 9.

13978 kHz USB: just heard V07 #numberstation in Spanish w/ weak signal and long/short-path echo. Finished @ 0712*z. 1st time that I'm hearing it on my on SDR 🆕

Repeat soon @ 0720z on 13378, then 0740z on 12178.

17670 kHz: Music 4 Joy has started @ 1300z, bringing Sunday airings of this strange, single-track-in-a-loop broadcast to a revival indeed, as announced to happen in July :) weak on Twente #WebSDR, perhaps even weaker here in NE Poland. Should be better @ 1800z on 11800 kHz or 1830z on 9755 kHz.

And if/when you have a good signal, watch out for howling sound in audio mid-range, perhaps around 500 Hz, in a sort of notch of the music - suspected mystery data in there 👀 #shortwave #UNID #mystery

As for 6155 kHz ORF, looks like it's been missing already yesterday, on the 1st day of #A23 while 2 & 3 days ago it was cut abruptly arnd 0635z (before DST). That's what Twente #WebSDR fullday plot says.

So it looks like just like the BBC did w/ Ukraine broadcasts in October 2022, ORF has quietly eliminated #shortwave despite all the talks, press releases, and media attention how they revive it & how it suits best vs #war damage to local infrastructure, website blockades & disinformation 🤦‍♂️🤬

Another RFA Chinese freq change I haven't noticed until now, as I really rarely monitor #shortwave before 0700z: 17855 ex-17840 kHz. Two CNR1 #jammer's creating an echo as well as Chinese Digital Jammer are both blocking however much of a signal from Tinian🇲🇵 could have reached Twente #WebSDR, while a weak White Noise Jammer was left on 17840.

Interestingly, Digital Jammer pulled away @ 0659z, CNR1 was gone just after 15:00 BJT TC, and now we have RFI on 17850.

On other bands, via Twente #WebSDR (I prefer to keep recording 16m on my SDR), found a weak Chinese CPPCC speech on 15170 kHz, as well as another on 13720 kHz mixing w/ Saudi Radio International in Swahili.

CNR2 Business Radio is NOT carrying it, confirmed on 15500 kHz #shortwave

This morning, CNR1 and CRI Chinese are both carrying LIVE the 1st season of 14th CPPCC National Committee. Plenty of frequencies for that, especially on 16m, where there's also an additional special freq for simultaneous English translation of the speeches: 17870 kHz. Good signal on Twente #WebSDR. Note, however, that regular CRI English/CGTN Radio freqs do NOT have it; instead, 17490 & 17670 kHz are running usual "innocent" chit-chat. #shortwave
