Yes, I was there the year that absolute jerk abused the NZSL interpreter. That doesn't remove the greatness of the other presentations or atmosphere.

No pressure but I'd second calls to think of bringing it back with whatever help is needed to get there. Or to plan next steps like when Kiwicon became Kawaiicon.

@puck small steps. If you missed this talk by @sachajudd at #Webstock a few years ago, it's worth reading. Some 16YO girls are willing to learn or teach themselves how to use tech tools if they have another passion that drives them there. In this case it was #OneDirection but it could be anything where there's a social community.
