#LGBTQ Styled shoots, where do we begin? How about, we can always tell! There’s a trend (that’s thankfully, sloooowly dying) of using #cishet models pretending to be a couple so a bunch of #weddingindustry folk can look #inclusive and #woke. Which I get it’s hard to show something you offer if you’ve never done it. The issue is this, using STRAIGHT models to sell to a QUEER audience. And trust when we say we can always tell it’s untruthful.

One thing that still grinds our gears is how #heteronormative the #wedding industry is. We try to lead by example and use gender-neutral languange throughout our website.
Instead of bride and groom, alternative phrases like the happy couple, the soon-to-be-weds and the classic "newly weds" are completely genderless.
We've been doing this since 2012 and still waiting for the rest of the industry to catch up
