The last three days of May turned out to be a sum of the month - some days good, others just ok, and a few fantastic ones!
I set my daily goal for May to 10,000 steps, 30 heart points, and 2000+ Calories used, carrying 20-25 lbs, and do regular sets of weight lifting.
I reached those goals, and exceeded them - setting the bar for June!!

Off to the #gym! I wanted to change my routine and decided to get a new Jeff Nippard’s 5-day split routine for hypertrophy. It’s got preset warmups, feeder sets, mechanical dropsets, cluster sets etc. It looks pretty good, especially that it includes some exercises I haven’t done before.
Today's menu:
• Bench Press
• Larsen Press
• Standing Dumbbell Arnold Press
• Press-Around ss. with Pec Static Stretch 30s
• Cross-Body Cable Y-Raise
• Squeeze-Only Triceps Pressdown ss. with Stretch-Only Overhead Triceps Extension
• N1-Style Cross-Body Triceps Extension

My #fitness goal in new year is to get shredded to 10% body fat (currently 20%) and then start bulking again. From my experience I can say it will take about 12-15 weeks.
I want to bench my body weight before Summer and squat bodyweight before April.

Losing fat while gaining muscle, commonly called “body recomposition” or “recomping,” is indeed possible. However, it’s not for everybody. Trex wrote an article about it. Personally, I think it’s easier to cut and bulk in phases to get better results.
