Today marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of Conrad Veidt, great actor and anti-Nazi.

He was brilliant in silent movies (I love Weimar Cinema!) but also in too. He was limited in his speaking roles, once he left Germany, by his strong German accent however.

In the ‘Cabinet of Doctor Caligari’ he somehow has to make a zombie soulful.
