They remind me of the Route Napoleon that I drove multiple times as a penniless student (because I couldn’t afford the péages for the autoroute in the Rhône Valley).

It’s the pinnacle of GT motoring in a big coupé.

@CFBrand3rd I haven’t noticed that, but I don’t watch YouTube much (used to be absolutely never not so long ago, in my pre #WeirdCar days).

I’ll pay attention and report back. Mostly watch some of our mutual WeirdCar friends, and recently some BMW i3 stuff, as well as an amazing series on the demise of the British car industry, which I never understood: rise and fall of Austin, Morris, BMC, Rootes Group, British Leyland, Rover Group etc.

It really is a hellscape, where horrible people feel emboldened to sh*tpost more than ever. I’m disappointed more of my #WeirdCar friends didn’t migrate. For some influencers #Xitter is their primary tool for driving traffic to their YouTube channel, which might be their ONLY source of income.

I get that. But it’s still disappointing, like pointing out that Hitler made great autobahns. 😬

A Nissan Leaf passed me on the right, and as it did, a Smart car came piling out of a parking lot without looking. It was almost #weirdcar on #weirdcar crime.

I love when brochures showed cars with just a plain, real license plate. And a dented one at that!

Can't decide which #weirdcar I like better, the early or later Fiat Multipla. The old one looks like its going backwards either way, but the newer one has that pleasing brow ridge which apparently hide very powerful wiper motors.
