A couple of houses down from mine, I have a new-ish #neighbour; moved in last year. There lives a weird kid, in a good way. From talking to him and seeing him doing weird things, it seemed to me he was destined to end up a pretty good engineer in about twenty years.

Today confirmed it. He literally built a Bugs Bunny cartoon trap on the front lawn, to catch ... ?

Trying to figure out why I'm so afraid of making connections with people and of course it all goes back to #earlychildhoodtrauma but there were more layers than I expected. Sure the #bullying in school didn't help but my parents isolated me most of the time and I never developed the #socialskills needed to make friends and not be the #weirdkid. My only freedom from our tiny apartment was when we would go do laundry once a week at my grandparents house.
