5) There's a big gap in the market at #Queenstown for a dedicated plant based / vegan cafe, and also for the same kind of restaurant. Queenstown's vegan tourists have to search endlessly and often face few or overly junky options.
6) Queenstown supermarkets #freshchoice #4square fails to provide even a basic vegan cheese for sandwiches.
7) WTF is #WellingtonAirport so blind to providing #vegan options at cafes etc. #Wishbone can't do a hummus & salad sandwich? No Whittaker's oat chocolate?

Besides the technical challenge, another reason for recreating the shot was that in 2013 Air New Zealand 737's were starting to be retired in favour of the A320, and so the opportunity wouldn't be there for much longer. Here is the very last ANZ 737 arrival and departure from Wellington in 2015

Revisiting that time about 10 years ago when I recreated a photo my father took of an NAC 737-200 landing at Wellington in 1968 (I think possibly the first) with an Air New Zealand 737-300. It wasn't until much later that I noticed it was the exact same wooden telegraph pole/lamppost in both pics.

This departure screen at #WellingtonAirport has the sides cut off, which is pretty annoying.
But what's that in the top right corner?
(Anyone able to identify the OS?)
Right place and right time bit of luck to catch a rare Royal Air Force A400M Atlas C.1 when it dropped in to Wellington airport for an hour on Thursday. I think it's only the second time one of those has been here

When you're in not quite the right location but take the pics anyway because it's good practice. RNZAF C-130H(NZ) NZ7002 arriving at Wellington Airport on Thursday afternoon
