Here's a couple of my mixed media digital pieces that I completed this week. They are both prefixed by the series name - 'In Annwn, Everything Is Fine' (yeah, it's a play on the Eraserhead song) - The first piece is called Revival, the second, The Blessing.

As way of introduction to Mastadon folks, here's a few of my most recently completed artwork. I do a lot of drawing based on my collection of old Victorian CDV portraits and vintage vernacular snapshots that I've collected over the years.

I'm inspired by Welsh mythology, folklore and old wives' tales, magical realism and figurative art. My work's been shown up and down Wales, and occasionally outside too. Give us a follow if you like the cut of me jib...

A somewhat hasty photo of two linocut prints which I dropped off this morning at the Royal Cambrian Academy following their selection for the Academy’s 2023 Open Exhibition. The exhibition runs from 7th January to 25th February in Conwy, North Wales. Pob lwc Cymru! Here’s a dragon from 1958 breathing fiery good luck wishes to the first team since that year to represent Wales in the World Cup
One of a series of 12 paintings commissioned by Evan Roberts Ltd from well known Welsh artists to mark the holding of the Empire Games in Cardiff 1958. The subject given was “an original painting of a Dragon with the motto Croeso i Gymru”
