Yr Hen Bont / The Old Bridge. Built in 1425 to link the Oldcastle to the Newcastle over the River Ogmore. One of the channels I watch fairly regularly is Kristen Dirksen on YouTube, and I keep being utterly charmed by a lot of the people she profiles. Particularly, this video about a farmer in Wales is so interesting - he's using permaculture to restore the soil, help his neighbours, and you can feel his love for the land and culture. Taught me some things I didn't know about Welsh history, also.

Also known as St Tudor's Mound, and in a field next to St Tudor’s church.
I stumbled across this when visiting the churchyard for a wander, and found this local legend:

A local man tried to dig into the mound in the hope of finding the hidden hoard of treasure, but when a thunderstorm arrived from nowhere, he became so terrified that he ran away and never returned.
