I'm sympathetic to the #XR UK #extinctionrebellion change of tactics for a while, in fact I admire them for trying something different. #wequit I also like the idea of gathering a lot of people in a less conflictual #protest than previously. But protest that involves everyone going home at a specified time is quite weak. My years of #activism and #socialmovement experience has taught me how weak those protests are. Why not go out in the streets on April 21 and stay there for a week? #thebigone
