I had to really zoom so the photo's not too clear, but I was excited to get it at all. These little guys migrate through our area every May. I was lucky to catch this one in our willow tree one morning. They remind me of a tropical drink, they're so colorful!

Back in December 2019, a Western Tanager ended up many many miles from home.
This is the first ever recorded Western Tanager in Delaware.
I was fortunate enough to see it in person. Very cool experience as a newer bird enthusiast.
