Few on ramps are two lanes merging into one. If the concern is vehicles backing up onto Marginal Road please split the difference and make the merge happen sooner and give more space to Cherry Walk. But truthfully, how often would vehicles be backing up onto Marginal Road. Two lanes really doesn't help that much. It ALWAYS creates a choke point.

The West Side Highway southbound (sb) on ramp at St Clair at two lanes creates a choke point for pedestrians and bicyclists on Cherry Walk.
That on ramp does not need to be two lanes.

1. Though I had many involvements with Sally, I didn't know or appreciate the extent of her involvement and effect.
2. I had made two scouting trips to #MuscotaMarsh about #OysterCastle siting and neglected to use those trips.
3. Balancing fighting and working with institutions.
4. #WaterTunnels in #NYC
5. #Stampede in 1941 on #WestHarlemPiers excursion boat.

#LittleNeckBay got 4 large #oystercastle structures in March, 2021 ostensibly to protect the shoreline from erosion. Deployment of the #oysterCastles was done by manual labor. No large barge and crane required.

Tomorrow predicted to be: 2022-12-24 16:05 EST -0.72 feet Low Tide at the #GeorgeWashingtonBridge. I'll bike over to a favorite place at #WestHarlemPiers park.
