So, I've said a lot about how much I don't like #GNOME. But for the next week -- until March 18th -- I'll be using it as my main DE to see if I can reconcile with it after jumping ship post-3.0 in favor of Sawfish/MATE, Window Maker, and Enlightenment.
I'm not going to go easy on it; I do resent its position and how intertwined it is with both #SystemD and #Weston (where it depends on the former and the latter is modelled after it), but if it can win me over regardless I'll lay off it afterward.

I’m on a #wayland kick at the moment on my #archlinux build. I’m using #weston and I like it’s simplicity. Any recommendations on other compositors? Also, does anyone use Liri-shell on wayland? I can’t get #aurora compositor to install and it’s a dependency. There a hard error and it’s been posted as in issue on #github but no one has an answer yet. Has to do with WaylandXdgOutputV1 no such directory.
