I was actually looking for the recent release by #MeikoKaji (see the post I just boosted) & got sucked into the amazing selection of #WeWantSounds re-releases. Kept myself to three CDs, but 2 were only available on CD... meanwhile, enjoying Alice Clark’s phenomenal music. While a bit different, some of it reminded me of a party at a Motown-record collector's, that a blizzard turned into a lock-in.

Originally released in 1979 on the Japanese Paddle Wheel label, this superb session by Japanese drummer Masahiko Togashi with Don Cherry and Charlie Haden was recorded in Paris at Studio Ramsès in 1979.
