@penpaperdice @neverless it certainly depends on the wgrpg era you want to focus on, cause the setting evolved over time. In the beginning (#wfrpg1e), it was surprisingly loose-knit. Important aspects IMO: gritty (but dark humored) setting inspired by early modern rather than high medieval Europe, gunpowder, PCs are more likely to be commoners/hoi polloi than aristocrats, magic = weird & dangerous, less romantisation of feudal societies as compared to classic fantasy
@neverless cool! Sounds like fun. I‘d like to run #EnemyWithin one day, but preferably with the rules-light #Warlock #ttrpg. My experience with #WFRPG is limited to playing some #WFRPG1e in the 90s, but i dig the old world setting: someone is digging turnips from the mud, while chaos things rummage through the nearby woods and some guy called Sir Hubertus Von Sülzenbach-Unterwachtelburg discovers that his sausage dog is in fact chaos spawn ♥️
