roughly, it has a smart white man who solves crimes, while his somewhat buffoonish or slow black colleagues stand around (I exagerate a bit, but not by much)

@EH I watched #KQED as a little kid in Palo Alto. I've spent the majority of my life in #WGBH land. Love that classic logo too!

This #ClassicLogo for #PBS warms my heart every time I see it. To me, it represents the absolute heyday of PBS, when the network was flooded with outstanding content contributed by stations across the country.

PBS was once a rich and engaging network, chock full of science, arts, and humanities. Repeated budget cuts have reduced it to a struggling bearer of British reruns. It’s really sad.
