These include that #WGBT is mainly calculated on healthy military men, it is not well observed (often calculated) and also that in cooler countries #heatwaves are a "fun" thing (ice cream, beach days etc) as highlighted by Saffron O'Neill

This has made WBGT difficult to calculate and meant approximations have been created. Here we formulate a new WBGT method that can be used with global gridded data that are freely available and we compare it against other methods in common use."
