I've learned to never take that bait.

Deflection, "What about", that's what people who can't defend a position use to deflect away from a subject they can't "win" or justify.

the only answer at that point is block and move on with life. They're not going to take the time to acknowledge the one thing, and you've made an effort, given them opportunities. Whataboutism is a cancer.

I'm absolutely cool with having other discussions once the topic at hand is settled, but using unrelated topics as a means of ignoring the topic at hand is a weak way to debate.
