I've been thinking about this last couple of days, but I am now 38 years old, have been working for 24 years, and have never made more than $12 an hour. I say this not as a brag (#WhatACatch, ladies...lol), but to speak to #poverty in the #US. $12 an hour seemed great in 2004. Not so much in 2023.
