I should play the Sims. I keep forgetting I have that game and that I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on DLC for the game #WhatIsWrongWithMe

I am so confused by my own account here ...like wtf am I doing with this. I'm loving the posts I'm seeing but also hating them because it's not what I expected for this account. I can't figure out if I want to foster this or strip it and be all base needs/wants. I start reading, start contributing, then have an internal schism about it all. #GoodTimes #WhatIsWrongWithMe

Sometimes I have these episodes where I turn ash grey and all I can do is crawl into bed, usually full clothed. Nothing will wake me for around two hours, then I feel exhausted for several hours afterwards. Dr can’t find anything. #WhatIsWrongWithMe

My biggest achievements today:

1. Implemented a demo showcasing a feature "new" in PHP 4, which was released 24 years ago. (https://github.com/Dan-Q/php4-transparent-session-demo)

2. Improved compliance of my Gopherhole (gopher://danq.me) with a 32-year-old standard.

I might have a nostalgia problem.

A coworker is talking about listening to older music on Spotify and that “it’s so great, it’s like a middle school dance.”

And I’m just thinking …we clearly had different middle school experiences. My adjectives for middle school dances are mortifying, sweaty, cringey.

This is apparently A Thing, where many people my age have this nostalgia for years I am relieved to forget. Imagine peaking in middle school. Gah.
