I'm not quite sure what kind of game What Remains of Edith Finch is. I think it's an exploration game?
What I do know is that it hooked me pretty quickly; the story was fascinating from the get-go.
I've slowly worked my way through the story to the point I feel like I'm on the verge of something, and it's a game I'm going to need to come back to when I'm not utterly exhausted.
What Remains of Edith Finch has grabbed me in that short time, and I'm rating it:

A 4K shot from "What Remains of Edith Finch". It really looked a lot better on PS5, while I already enjoyed it a lot in PS5. But the visuals were more clear, making some trophies easier to get. 😊

Vor allem aber zeichnet sie sich nicht als gute Geschichte eines Spiel aus. #Games können durch ihre Systeme und Mechaniken erzählen.
Wenn wir Geschichten aus Spielen loben wollen, sollten wir bei Games wie #WhatRemainsofEdithFinch und #Undertale anfangen, die konventionelles Erzählen durch systemisches und spielerisches ersetzen/ergänzen.

Replaying "What Remains of Edith Finch", the PS5 version has different trophies 🏆 from the PS4 one. As both are offered in PS+premium, I grabbed the game and am playing it again. It looks really good on PS5 (4K resolution).

#WhatRemainsOfEdithFinch dostało niedawno update na #PS5, więc miałem dobry pretekst, by do tego wrócić.
To krótka gra, na jakieś 2-3 godziny, ale wciąż jestem pod wrażeniem, ile zmieściło się w niej pomysłów. Symulator cutulutowego potwora, interaktywny komiks, zabawa w fotografa... Chociaż mój faworyt to wciąż RYBY. Całość kojarzy mi się trochę z filmami #WesAnderson. No i łatwa #platyna, jeśli kogoś to zachęca.
