A week or so ago, I was driving home and saw a giant shooting star. I googled to see if anyone else might have seen it and learned on the American Meteor Society's website that it was likely a fireball. I logged it on the site and hit the sack. The next morning a whole bunch of people had logged it as well. Over time, folks have added videos that caught the bright light in the sky.
