Spent a fabulous hour up 'Jumbo', aka the Balkerne Water Tower, in #Colchester #Essex today. Some great views from the top, and quite an experience within its TARDIS-esque interior (it is enormous on the inside).

Built in 1884, there's a lot of iron holding up the inside - if it had been built just 10 years later, they would've used steel instead. It's a 19th century construction using 18th technology!
