In a continued effort of making The Car™ look presentable. I decided to pay Kerb Appeal - Alloy Wheel Refurbishment and Repair to try and fix the 12 year old stock wheels. Their lead sales person did a very good job of offering me a very low price and recommending the Anthracite Grey colour.

I had my doubts, what with it being a light blue car, that the darker wheels wouldn't look right. They do, and they look damn good at it too.

First time I’ve seen these in person. Don’t like the look, but these wheels shave off 5 pounds per corner. They come off the Chevy Cruze Eco and we’re designed by Alcoa specifically for Chevy. My plan is to eventually put these on my Bolt, too, but painted black.

Six Years ago Curiosity Mars Rover checked its wheels. Here's one of the hand-lens images, it just happened to capture the Murray Buttes in the background. The rover is scheduled to have another wheel check soon.

Found some wheels, took them apart and stuck them onto the motors. They barely touch the ground, though. Also, used double sided tape to keep the motors in place - need to find a better solution

the complete lack of creativity when it comes to wheelie frame designs really bothers me. Having had to use one twice after major accidents I felt it was really lacking a fun element. A search for some alternatives turned up a single pimped up model which might not be my personal style but at least it has a creative flair. If I ever have to buy one for permanent use I'd round up a bunch of high schoolers and get them to pimp it up for me.
