Beim Klabautermann ist #WHFRP Second Edition ein unintuitives Frickelsystem von tausenden, auch noch schlecht auf den Bögen präsentierten Werten. Und diese ganze Rechnerei und ständige Sucherei immer nur dafür, am Ende in Kämpfen doch NIX gebacken zu bekommen, weil man recht lange einen Nobody spielt. Ich bin vielleicht zu sehr von #Pathfinder2 und dem #Pathbuilder verwöhnt, aber mir sind kompetente Figuren inzwischen doch deutlich lieber. Schade, denn die Leute, mit denen ich spiele, sind toll.

I'm running #theenemywithin for my group, and we just scheduled the next session.

Last session they killed the witch-hunter following them and arrived at Bögenhafen. Now I'm not sure how to segue into the next portion of the adventure since the main tie-in is already dead.

I do enjoy #WHFRP, though. Alas, no gaming group these days...

Here is a confession: I don't like "rules-lite" or "narrative" #ttrpg . I tried them, and while many enjoy them, they are just not my thing.

So when people are saying that we should try out alternatives to #DnD and #Pathfinder : I have. Repeatedly.

But my favorites among the alternatives tend to be games like #WHFRP and #GURPS rather than #FATE or #PbtA .
