@Are0h In early America for a brief time, both African captives & Anglo indentured largely lived together. When the ruling class saw they were uniting under shared interests & making demands, the solution was chattel slavery for Africans & an illusion of superiority for oppressed whites. Black Panthers challenged economic segregation as well. It had to be stopped.
