The time when the Feds said "native Americans are legally white," had them put that on birth certs, census, etc was just them separating the tribes from their kin.

Same with "blood minim laws" and DNA tests that can't be accurate because there's not enough first nations DNA unmixed with other DNA to test against. One could match and "prove" relation but a "fail" could also mean nothing because of all the missing genetic markers data.
