A new instrument, #WEAVE, at the William Herschel Telescope (#WHT) on La Palma has seen first light. It analysed the light of a pair of galaxies 280 mio. light years away from Earth. #AIP is one of the project's partners.

The Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes (ING) and the WEAVE instrument team present first-light observations with the #WEAVE spectrograph.
