My current attitude towards making digital music: #whybother

1. it's a tedious process
2. the result is probably gonna suck
3. even if it doesn't, it will most likely go unnoticed

I'm beginning to appreciate professional musicianship. If you're paid to do it, you only need to impress one person: your employer. Everyone else can go fuck themselves. It's probably a lot easier than trying to make an impression on the whole world and not being paid a dime.

Is it mental health issues or is it the overwhelming stress of the reality of my life that no amount of therapy, meds, or positivity can change?
