Well, the DDR sticker and the logo imply "trabant" but the radiator grille is really weird. One of:
* EV style: blocked off to marginally reduce drag
* Mk I Mini: covered with some wood to keep the rain off the electrics

the RAV4 had somehow managed to survive until #BMWi3 have almost got within our max £10k budget.
This is at a dealer we know and trust a bit (he was absolutely brilliant when we had problems when we bought the RAV from him in 2014).
I know we have some owners with experience etc so please tell me high mileage but attractive spec range extender i3 should be avoided or otherwise as a main car. 😉

If anyone's near #BrightonMarina car park, and has access to a flatbed, I don't think anyone would notice if you pinched this poor little thing. Looks like it's been there for months 🙁

So my Fedi home Wierd.Autos with a great bunch of #WierdCarMastodon folks seems to be down while very technical back end stuff is sorted. Ie it got blocked because someone else was sending spam 🤷‍♂️

So I thought it was time to set up my own Fedi house (single user instance) mostly because GoDaddy killed my free webpage and I was missing my Fedi friends… and most importantly ‪@mastohost‬ made it so easy (and reasonable cheap) to do 👍

I am wondering what #wierdcarmastodon thinks of this. I have 5 stock VW GTI wheels (sport model) that are sitting on a rack in my garage. They take up some space but it's not too obtrusive.

If you have put on aftermarket wheels do you sell the OEM wheels, hold on to them and include them when you sell the car, or revert back to stock wheels and sell the aftermarket wheels?

I remember a similar story with my '67 1500 beetle. Engine threw #3 conrod.
I bought a cheap fastback and took the engine out and put in the beetle (with the beetle tinware obviously)
