I could wish there were something like #WikiLoops that was explicitly #CreativeCommons -friendly.

Their license is not terrible but it's restrictive enough that I don't really want to put my limited music time there when I could be making things for my friends, my BandCamp, or archive.org.

A few months ago I messed around a bit with #WikiLoops. Here's one I did in April, a sort of Pink Floyd-sounding #blues jam guitar thing that I added a #BassGuitar part to, including a very self-indulgent solo part, excerpted here.

(I got thinking about it because @jessica has been throwing me new tracks with a LOT of bass space.)

#WikiLoops is not a bad setup and the pricing tiers are not ridiculous, but I would rather have something just #CreativeCommons, maybe built around the Archive (where I already park a lot of my own stuff). Does anyone know whether something like that exists?

I bookmarked #WikiLoops once and never went back, but I thought of it for some reason and checked it out today. I was in a music mood and after slaving away on a #metal track for @jessica , it was time to do something a little more... sedate.

Nice #blues track to which I added a #BassGuitar line. Probably way more bass line than it really needed, but that's kind of my MO.
