While cat Freya really enjoys the weather the horse is a bit annoid by bugs and looks not that happy in its dress…a fast and easy #SundayImprovementCake so there was time to go by bike to the horse stable…still have not found out where the Heinrich of this ancestor relative in #WikiTree https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Geisinger-189 comes from, stated in the book but not in the baptism record…need to dig some more into the sources...#CornCrop looks kind of strange.

Managed to work a bit on the #WikiTree profile of my third cousin three times removed Adolf Haiß, who emigrated from Black Forest to #SouthAfrica, but only after working in #Montreux. I uploaded some photos and documents, his descendant gave me, but I'm still lacking transcription and translation of the #French letter of recommendation from the "Hôtel des Alpes-Grand Hôtel", where #DeepPurple later recorded "Smoke on the Water".

I was on a pretty high load at #WikiTree already before I started contributing to the browser extensions. At the moment it's really tough to keep life in order, but the reactions of the people to my stuff have been so awesome, that I want to implement all the things I have in mind right now, because those things help other people so much more than me scanning and inventorying the photo album of great-grandma, which is my genealogy goal for this year. But do they help me?

ALL: You might be surprised how you connect to Bob Barker.

He has Lakota Roots as well as Classic New York Roots. And a step family with strong French Canadian family lines.

I would love it if someone w/Native American experience would add several family lines to Bob's #WikiTree

Must admit, I really wasn't aware of this alternative, but felt the need for it, when my Scottish #WikiTree colleague started inserting commas in the profile of my ancestor, she was reviewing, and which stated the prices for multiple land transactions.

Preparing my talk for this year's #WikiTree Symposium, Nov 3-4, 2023, about how to save and perpetuate #FamilyHistory by donating selected items to suitable institutions. Especially important for ancestors who had no direct ancestors! #Genealogy

Bought an eBike…not sure where that will end…still don't know why #cooking equals a #messed up kitchen…visited my favorite store https://muehle-lorenz.de for #RegionalProducts with pigs and sheeps enjoying the summer outside…worked on transcriptions and questions in #WikiTree …actual only 2 of my managed profiles improved :-( …the #SundayImprovementCake was on Saturday…and Sunday post late on Monday…guess that's life…and cat Freya is fully relaxed.

"Funny" detail: Developing for WikiTree BEE and the #WikiTree Browser Extension apparently demands a lot from my neck, because I'm constantly looking on the top of my screen (browser buttons, tab heads) as opposed to when developing desktop applications.

Visit at #grandma could have been better this week. She was pretty ok with hearing and talking, but I was very tired and had pain in my neck. Probably a mixture of coding too much for #WikiTree 🐝 in the last days, sleeping bad and change in weather. Still created some 200 MB of recordings, but this time some are with a lot of silence.
