1376 followers · 1019 posts · Server mastodon.scot🐬 I've just been to a brilliant workshop with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust who are on Arran this weekend. 🐋 I've been totally enthused about their #WhaleTrack project. 🐳 You can report sightings either through the app (which is awesome) or online, where theres also a sightings map, and contribute to amazing citizen science that is uncovering lots of details about these incredible animals 🤩.

Triple impressed with the young family out with me today on the shore. Not only was it really windy, making wildlife spotting extra hard work, but they have also recently moved to Scotland from Senegal, and their first language is French. Nevertheless, they figured out how to use the spotting scopes, spotted lots of wildlife including seals and otters, and splashed in all the puddles like professionals, whilst staying warm. Excellent work! 💦💪
