#TIL about a new (to me) native wildflower: yellow passion flower (Passiflora lutea). We grow the more common (and showy) maypop (Passiflora incarnata), which is both lovely and semi-invasive at our site. It's one of the few plants our deer won't touch *at all*.

The yellow passion flower forms smaller "berries" that (apparently) wildlife eat, & is quite cold-hardy (Zone 5?), but appears much less discussed & is less widely available.
