I finished Waybound last night and, if you love fantasy with high powered magic systems, you really need to read the Cradle series. Waybound was a great ending to the journey. It solidifies Cradle’s place among my very favorite fantasy series.

Last night I finished Dreadgod by Will Wight. That means I am now ready for Waybound when it releases in June. Cradle is one of my all time favorite fantasy series and I’m both sad and excited for this final book.

Been a bit of a busy week. I managed to finish up GHOSTWATER as well as UNDERLORD and have now started UNCROWNED. If you haven’t read Will Wight’s Cradle series you really should. This weekend I’m hoping to get close to finishing Jedi: Fallen Order (an excellent game) too. We’ll see how things shape up.

I’ve reread the first five books in the Cradle series this week. Just finished GHOSTWATER today. This continues to be one of my all time favorite series. The characters are just wonderful. Great magic system. Fascinating world. Found family trope. It’s got nearly everything I love.

I finished THE CAPTAIN by Will Wight today. Starting a new series by an author you love is always a little anxiety-inducing. Will I like this one as much as the last? I can happily say that I thoroughly enjoyed THE CAPTAIN. It was very different, space fantasy, found family. Will it be as popular as Cradle? Who knows? But if you like Wight’s other books, it’s worth checking out.
