Heute (#otd) vor 305 Jahren wurde Johann Joachim Winckelmann in #Stendal geboren. Er ist das Role Model für das Weggehen, um etwas aus sich zu machen. Wie viele Menschen nach ihm, verließ auch er die #Altmark und startete eine beeindruckende Karriere. Es verschlug ihn nach Italien. 1763 wurde er sogar durch Papst Clemens XIII. zum Aufseher der Altertümer und zum Bibliothekar des #Vatikan ernannt. #Winckelmann gilt heute als Begründer der wissenschaftlichen Archäologie und Kunstgeschichte. 🙌
