Omigosh this #Winco grocery was crowded this morning unexpectedly. They were short cashiers. Only a few checkout lanes were open and maybe 60 shopping carts and people waiting in lines and masses. American shopping can be rather a challenge. #Shopping #Capitalism

When possible, I try buying food from worker owned #Winco chain. I try not to buy anything big corporate when possible. Big candy, big soda & big others crowd the unhealthy center isles too.

Could be worse, "as a city peep", we have to load up the buckboard & drive 45 min to a no thrills $$ budget grocery store for stock up foods.

Just did the #MaskUp and went grocery shopping. It took longer than it had to because I had to wait a while for the unmasked, middle-aged, heavy-set, hacking, sneezing, generally-looking-like-death-warmed-over person to clear out of the peanut butter aisle.

If I do get sick with the #Covid variant known as #TheKraken, it will be because of the post-holiday superspreader event at #WinCo Foods.

#alert #winco peanut butter just became completely inedible. They started burning their peanuts instead of just roasting them. Verified at two different WinCo stores, they both had burned peanut butter. Not even kidding it tastes like a burning fan belt. Utterly revolting. They were the only ones who had decent peanut butter, too...
