And the streets ran red, but this time you might want to bring a glass. Over 2 million liters of wine ran through the streets in Portugal.
It was wine and must from Douro to be distilled. Apparently, the company that owned the wine had storage issues, improvised a lagar and it exploded. Then, took out one next to it too.
I got a message saying this accident occurred 10 minutes from Filipa Pato and William Wouters, prominent producers! #wine #portugal

Natural wine was a movement founded on noble goals and ideals - the idea of creating more honest, authentic and expressive wine. But somewhere along the line, the message has become garbled.
I increasingly see signs that the category is at risk of becoming a parody of itself.
