Glass is a problematic container for #wine due to its weight, the energy you need to mine, mold, and ship it, and the fact that glass #recycling in the United States is dismal. At #TablasCreek we've moved to lightweight bottles, shifted some of our production to box and keg, and worked to source more locally and with a higher recycled content. I'm still excited that we'll be serving our #TastingRoom wines going forward out of keg, not bottle.
