Bat Shlomo (Israel) and Kefraya (Lebanon). Two excellent wineries in the Middle East in my latest report.

I believe this to be one of the world’s greatest bottles of wine. Of the many dozens of vintages of Musar I have tried, the 1995 consistently proves to be my favorite, time and time again. And it gorgeous blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan never fails to unfold with depth, elegance, vibrance, and a fantastic balance between umami and fruit qualities that is positively gulpable. I own four bottle of this wine. Missing Serge and the twinkle in his eye. #musar #winesoflebanon #wine
Coming up at noon EST on RobertParker.com for is a report mostly focused on new submissions from Margalit, but there are also many retrospectives from Israel and a couple of Lebanese wines from Chateau Heritage and Chateau Marsyas. There were lots of good performances here, with Margalit leading the way. If you are interested in what Israeli wine produces, these are great examples.
