@AntBit this movie was truly awful. It didn’t realize it’s potential for something truly camp Self awareness is so important in a movie like this.

If you set out to make Winnie the Pooh and his lot a bunch of terrifying bastards in masks, there better be enough laughs to make it worth watching.

I don’t like demeaning the work of others, but this movie was mean. It felt like a cruel joke on the punters who went to see it. That was the worst part.

"'Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey,' which released in the United States in February and critics widely panned, had been scheduled to debut in dozens of theaters across Hong Kong on Thursday, but plans changed abruptly, Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the film’s director, said. In an Instagram story, Frake-Waterfield wrote that 30-plus screenings were planned, but “Then ‘something’ seems to [have] caused all these independent chains dropping out!"
